Black American Princesses. When I hear this name I get warm and soft inside. I feel appreciated in the most transcendental way. It is not the norm for women who are descendants of people who were enslaved in what is now the United States, to be called princesses. But even just saying, “Black American Princesses”, I do feel like a princess. That’s what the movie B.A.P.S. is about and is an acronym for. Released in 1997, this movie is still relevant for women of whom are descendants of people who were enslaved in what is now the United States.
The heroine of this story is Nisi. Nisi along with her best friend, Mickey work in a diner together in Georgia. However they both had big dreams beyond the aprons. Nisi was the one who with her whole heart, believed in those dreams. This story of manifestation is about her will, her determination, and her love for herself.
Nisi truly had the vision which made Mickey believe in it to. These steps to making your dreams a reality are inspired by her.

Step 2:
Some people that are currently in your life may not understand why you would want such a dream and they may place their own personal limitations and insecurities onto you either purposefully or unintentionally. You have to always protect what is precious to you.
